Welcome to the official website for the 4th annual Chester Lady Yellow Jackets' Mid-Winter Classic Basketball Tournament.

This year, the Mid-Winter Classic Tournament welcomes the Trico Lady Pioneers to the field of eight teams competing for the championship. Returning to the tournament this year are Agape Christian Lady Knights, Elverado Lady Falcons, Marissa-Coulterville Lady Meteors, New Athens Lady Yellowjackets, Sesser-Valier Lady Red Devils, Valmeyer Lady Pirates in addition to the host Chester Lady Yellow Jackets.

This year's tournament will be played from January 5-9 inside Daniel Colbert Memorial Gym at Chester High School.

Chester High School and the Lady Yellow Jackets invite you to attend any or all of the games in this year's tournament. We look forward to seeing you in the recently renovated Colbert Gym for the exciting start of high school girls basketball in the month of January.

Don't forget, it will be the boys' turn the week of January 11-16, 2010.  CHS will host the 48th annual Chester Invitational Tournament, the oldest boys basketball tournament in Southern Illinois, south of Interstate 64.  For more information on that tournament, visit www.thecit.com.
